Notion isn’t as secure as you would have hoped — it doesn’t support two-factor authentication and its administrators can access user files. The service has confirmed that it is working on solutions to address both of these concerns, though.
Notion doesn’t natively support two-factor authentication. Instead, users need to create an account using Google and rely on Google Auth as a workaround. Now, Notion is developing an in-house solutions that’ll let users protect any account.

Data Access Concerns
Listening to its users, Notion is building a new feature that’ll ultimately let users choose whether they want employees having the option to access their data. This is something they can enable when they need support and disable when they don’t.
Similarly, Notion is building a separate toggle that will allow users to choose between fast, complete database searches — something that isn’t achievable when data is encrypted at rest — or full end-to-end encryption.
