Is FuboTV Free to Watch?

FuboTV is one of the best streaming services for sports, offering live access to ESPN, Fox Sports and more. But one name is missing from the list, and it’s a big one for basketball fans: TNT isn’t available on FuboTV. The streamer lost the channel back in July 2020 after failing to reach an agreement with WarnerMedia, which owns TNT.

One would have expected FuboTV to have dropped its prices as a result, but it went the other way, raising them instead. This is because the announcement came at the same time ESPN, Animal Planet, Comedy Central, Discovery, Disney Channel and FX were added to the streaming service, as well as several local networks.

Is FuboTV Free to Watch?

FuboTV isn’t free to watch, but it does have a one-week free trial for new customers to take it for a spin before handing over some cash. This can be canceled at any time, and doesn’t have any restrictions: You can watch as much as you want, and record using the service’s cloud-based DVR, for free, for an entire week.

You don’t need to do anything in particular to start the FuboTV free trial. It starts the minute you complete the sign-up process, running for seven days before billing card the credit card on file and switching you over to a paid membership. Just cancel before the seventh day and you won’t be charged a dime.

FuboTV is one of the few live TV streaming services to still offer a free trial. Hulu with Live TV discontinued its around the same time The Kardashians debuted in April 2022. Sling TV hasn’t offered one in a while, either. The only other notable free trial on offer comes from YouTube TV, which also lasts for one week.

How Much is FuboTV?

FuboTV comes in three sizes: Pro, Elite and Latino. Pricing for these starts at $33 a month and maxes out at $80. The main difference between them is the number of channels included with each. Paid add-ons are available, which let you create your own bundle if you’re after something that isn’t included out of the box.
