How to Cancel DashPass

This article is an instalment in Cancel It, a series dedicated to helping you cancel your subscriptions, because parting ways isn't always as easy as it should be. 

You can cancel DashPass on either desktop or mobile, and it couldn’t be easier. The steps are the same, no matter the device you’re using, and take no more than a minute to work through, from start to finish. Here’s how to cancel DashPass today. 

How to Cancel DashPass

  1. Open the DashPass website or application and sign in to your account.
  2. Click on the Account icon in the top-right (desktop) or top-left (mobile) corner.
  3. Scroll down and select Manage DashPass, then click ‘End Subscription’.
  4. Confirm that you’d like to cancel DashPass by clicking ‘End Subscription’.

You’ll be able to continue using the benefits of DashPass after canceling up until the end of the current billing cycle, so if you cancel your subscription the 12th and it was due to renew on the 15th, you can use it for another couple of days. 

If canceling through the website or application was unsuccessful, or you’d rather deal with a human from the start, you can reach out to DoorDash support, at help@doordash.com, and request they cancel the subscription on your behalf.

Can You Cancel DashPass and Get a Refund?

You may be able to receive a refund when you cancel DashPass if you haven’t used the benefits of the subscription by chalking it up to an accidental renewal or activation. You will need to contact DashPass to explain the situation, and it isn’t a done deal.
